Slide Bars and Vertical Mounts

A Slide Bar enables you to take a pair of photos for stereo viewing, of still life scenes, with a single camera. If you are new to 3D-Photography, we recommend the book  Ferwerda's World of 3D.  For twinbars (two camera mounting).

Vertical Mounts

These are for fixing your cameras in vertical or portrait format

 

Single Vertical Mount

If you want to take vertical format instead of the regular landscape format stereo photos, use this handy Single Vertical Mount to attach a camera to the Slide Bars above. It has a knob for easy removal of the camera in the field. Has standard tripod mounting hole for mounting to your tripod!  It now does not have a knob but has a hex wrench key assembly.

Adjustable - Twin Vertical Mount

These brackets have a moveable mounting screw, to compensate for the offset of the mounting screw hole from centerline of the camera's lens in some cameras. The various mounting options are the same as those for the "Fixed Mounts" as described above. Has standard tripod mounting hole for mounting to your tripod!

TWIN CAMERA VERTICAL MOUNTS
WITH "TOE-IN" FEATURE


 
The Twin Camera Vertical Mount with "Toe-In" Feature allows you to mount two cameras vertically. You may either choose to shoot with both cameras parallel, or "Toe-In", which means that the stereo image will be taken with converging optical axis. The latter is useful when shooting fairly close subjects (at a distance less than 10 ft./3 meters), although "Toe-In" will always result in a slight trapezoidal distortion of the images.

We offer both a fixed version and an adjustable version. Both versions feature:
